Day out in Taupo

On Sunday we took Grandma to Taupo for lunch with my cousin and his fiancee.

Lunch with Debbie, Andrew, Grandma, me, and an empty seat with a meal...

My Grandma liked the other "heart art" I made so I decided to make her a small version.  I got scrap booking paper from Spotlight instead of paint cards like last time.  I tried to get the measurements right for about 20 minutes and then gave up so in the end I just sort of tried to guess how far about to put them.  

 

First weekend in the new house

This was the first weekend since Andrew moved up and the only second weekend we have had together in Napier since I moved here. We went for a walk from our house around the port to town.

After - all we have done so far is take off the stuff that was on the windows.

And a blank canvas for work in progress. Plan is to bring forward the door to it's original spot and replace the window with lead light

 The fish toilet seat went on the first day we moved in...

Walls are the same colour but just look darker.  Thinking of making this smaller to make the bathroom bigger.

There doesn't seem to be a "before" of the office but this is the "during".  This was the kitchen until a couple of years ago.
